Classic painting and pinstriping
I lacquer motorcycles to look like the originals. I do all of this using classic techniques and materials. Instead of acrylic fillers, I use tin. Military bikes, I lacquer without any tining to accentuate their scars. Instead of modern basecoat and clearcoat, I use enamel paints.
For stripes, instead of templates and an airbrush, I use special oil-based paints that I apply with brushes made from the tail hairs of Canadian blue squirrels. What's the result?
An authentic, romantic look that's most similar to the original.
